Brewed exclusively with maris otter malt, our American Barleywine is boiled for over six hours to develop colour and deep malt complexity. Monstrous late-kettle additions of American simcoe hops provide a layered bitterness with punches of woody pine and citrus aroma.
Similar to last year's release, we've conditioned the 2023 with American Bourbon Oak and allowed for an even more generous maturation time. The result is slightly better integrated flavours and the best balance we have achieved to date whilst retaining that signature sting of all-Simcoe hops
